CHICAGO (October 23, 2025)- The Transportation Marketing and Sales Association (TMSA), the premier organization dedicated to uniting, growing and advancing transportation sales and marketing professionals, today announced the winners of its prestigious 2025 Mountain Mover Awards. These respected honors recognize exceptional individuals who have demonstrated outstanding innovation, leadership and measurable impact in driving growth within the transportation and logistics industry.
The 2025 Sales Mountain Mover is Director, Strategic Accounts and Government Services John Lemieux of Matson Logistics; and the 2025 Marketing Mountain Mover is Marketing Manager Mike Marut of Revenova.

Sales Mountain Mover Winner
John Lemieux, Director of Strategic Accounts and Government Services at Matson Logistics, brings decades of transportation expertise to his role specializing in government and military logistics. In 2023, he orchestrated one of FEMA's first relief shipments during the Maui fires. In 2024, Lemieux led his team to secure a groundbreaking $71.2 million military contract while also capturing $108 million in FEMA contracts. His strategic vision has built their project logistics business from the ground up. A three-time recipient of the Matson Presidential Award, Lemieux's deep understanding of complex government requirements and his ability to navigate intricate logistics challenges have made him an invaluable asset to both his organization and the clients he serves.
Marketing Mountain Mover Winner
Mike Marut, Marketing Manager at Revenova, has transformed his company's digital presence and market reach through strategic marketing initiatives. Under his leadership, the company's social media engagement surged by 1,000%, with LinkedIn and YouTube followings growing 48% and 28%, respectively. These efforts directly generated 180 qualified sales leads and contributed to 25% growth in new business. He's driven these efforts nearly single-handedly, and has now onboarded his team this year. Marut's work has been instrumental in Revenova's recognition as an Inbound Logistics Top 100 IT Provider, and SupplyTech BreakThrough Transportation Management Innovation of the Year for transforming the TMS space. His work showcases how modern marketing can drive substantial business outcomes.

Chief Commercial Officer Bill Heaney of Odyssey Logistics, leveraged his 23 years of experience to transform the company's sales model and culture, resulting in a doubling of total pipeline value to $500+ million.

The Marketing Brand Innovator category celebrated a group of inspiring finalists who continue to elevate the standard for innovation and brand leadership in the industry.
